Description |
The experiments presented in this investigation were conducted to examine various factors which are known to affect stability in an emulsified system. In most instances, the results reported were able to provide a better understanding of how these various factors interact with each other in promoting stability in the nonaqueous emulsions of glycerin-olive oil. From the results presented in can be concluded that in the glycerin-olive oil emulsion system of study of various factors which are known to affect emulsion system can be successfully employed to provide a better understanding of the overall stability process. Moreover, the results obtained from each individual study may not be completely meaningful, but when combined, much significant information in obtained. Also, the results suggest that interfacial viscosity and mechanical properties of the interfacial film can be correlated with the stability of an emulsion. |
