Description |
View (looking north, up Main Street), Salt Lake City, Utah. Ensign Peak and Powder Arsenal are visible. On April 5, 1876, at 4:47 p.m. there was an explosion on Arsenal Hill. Two young men, Charles Richardson and Frank Hill, were thought to have caused the explosion while shooting cranes. The two were killed and significant damage was done to surrounding area. |
