Description |
Original Hampton's Bridge crossign the Bear River constructed in 1859 in Collinston. Photo is mididentified as being in Corrine, Utah. Collinston was originally called Hampton or Hampton Ford for Ben Hampton who run a toll ferry across the Bear River. Hampton was later named Collinston in honor of Collins Fulmer, a favorite conductor on the Utah Northern Railroad. |
