Description |
Amtrak (National Railroad Passenger Corporation) unit number 504 (No. 504) in Salt Lake City on May 14, 1992. This unit is one of twenty new units built for Amtrak by General Electric Company, the first built by this company for Amtrak in about fifteen years. It sports a new red, white, blue, and silver paint scheme with black trim. It is in service on the Desert Wind from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City where some of the cars are forwarded to Chicago on the California Zephyr. Donor & Photographer: Mike B. Davis. |
