Description |
Gypsum mining, Sigurd, Utah. Stephen Moss, standing by horses, was hired by Jumbo Plaster Co. to blast and haul ore to the mill. He had to chuck(?) drill by hand, fill the hole with black powder, then fuse, light and RUN. After blast the big rock was broken by sledgehammer and hauled by wagons.
