Description |
Previous studies using orbital color doppler imaging have revealed altered orbital haemodynamics in patient with low tension glaucoma when compared with normal controls. However, it has not been determined whether this change in orbital blood flow velocities and vascular resistance is primarily responsible for progressive optic nerve damage or is secondary to autoregulatory mechanisms in the presence of optic atrophy. |
