For details, turn to page 30. COVER PHOTO: Nuclear medicine technol-ogist Paul E. Christian positions a patient in a Picker SPECT imaging camera, one of only a few operating in the United States. The new camera produces three- dimen-sional images of radioactive tracer. which is injected into the patient to detect disease such as dementia and coronary artery dis-ease.
