Description |
Dr. Henderson discusses her current role in a sports medicine fellowship at VCOM-Auburn and her previous role as a resident in family medicine at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. She talks about how she came down with COVID during the time when she was helping with drive-through testing, and her experience quarantining as a result even though she was not able to confirm the diagnosis at the time. She discusses issues with the lack of health literacy in America, and how that lack of knowledge made the pandemic worse. Dr. Henderson also discusses her work contributing to the adoption of telemedicine at her hospital. |
