Note |
A chipmunk was observed, and a parabolic microphone was pointed directly at the chipmunk while the sounds were created. The animal was moving at times during the recording and was not seen making the vocalizations. The pronounced coloration and size of the chipmunk resembled a Uinta Chipmunk, and the species is common in the area. Cliff Chipmunks are also predicted for the area (based on southwest ReGAP maps). |
