Video recording of the second KUTV EXTRA episode (color, sound, 28 minutes), originally on U-Matic tape. It aired on April 20, 1977, and had four segments. Mama [0:00:00]: Pastor Rosemary Cosby, known as Mama, had a radio show in Salt Lake City. Roberts interviews Cosby to explore her religious relationship with the community both as Mama and as a leader. It is followed up by an interview between Roberts and Severson, discussing the view of Mama that the story would illuminate for her community. Warshaw [0:12:53]: The second part of this episode explores the life of Maurice Warshaw as a Russian Jewish man accepted by the predominantly Mormon community. A new play had debuted, detailing his life and growth in the community. The episode looks at the story of Maurice as he moved from Russia to Philadelphia and, finally, to Salt Lake City. His supermarket and wealth accumulation led him to be a large giver in the community. Howe [0:20:35]: This third part of the episode explores the Allan Howe trials after the Utah Bar had dropped any charges or investigation. Waterwitch [0:22:24]: This final part of the episode looks at Dick Frisby's search for water. Judy Hallet interviewed him about his waterwitching methods and various opinions of his skill.
