A 78-year old male with a 2-moth history of progressive blurred vision OD. Three months prior to presentation, diffuse right-sided headaches followed by two episodes of dimming vision OD lasting seconds to hours.
Pathology
Intimal scarring and varied adventitial inflammation consistent with giant cell arteritis.

VA: 20/40 OD, 20/25 OS; Moderate nuclear sclerosis OD OS with pseudo-exfoliation. Tension applanation: 20 OD, 18 OS; Color plates: No test plate OD and test plates only OS
