Description A ladder can be seen leaning against the hillside at Dinosaur Monument. Explosives were stored in a crevice in the hillside to use for excavation in the quarry area. On the sign it says, Danger High Explosives Keep Away. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument.
