UHS We Participated in Contests

The photographs were taken for the 1954 edition of the Uintah High School yearbook. They are on page 85. The photograph in the top right corner is of the members of the Type Team. The second year typists were: Pat Lee, Janet Johnson, Connie Lundell, and Ann Wankier. The first year typists were: Carol Case, Wayne Pope, Laird Johnson, and Lee Caldwell. The photograph in the center on the right is of the members of the Bookkeeping Team. They were: Blaine Palmer, Jean Hodgkinson, Janie Odekirk, Pat Lee, and Joy Smith. The photograph in the bottom right corner is of the Shorthand Team Members. Lou Ann Shaeffer is reading a practice dictation to them. The members were: Gloria Grimme, Pat Lee, Jean Johnson, Rae Oxborrow, DeLoy Vernon, Janie Odekirk, Connie Lundell, Sharon James, and Dilworth Rust.
