The Vernal Jaycees demolished the Imperial Hall on Saturday, April 24, 1965 with the assistance of the local National Guard and the city and county. It was originally the Orpheus Hall, built in 1911, and was used for all types of amusements. Governor Calvin Rampton took a sledge hammer and hit the first blow that led to reducing the hall to a pile of rubble. |
