Main Street in Delta, Utah showing the new Delta Mercantile built after the first one was destroyed in one of Delta's several fires. Marsoni Hall is at far right. Settled in 1906, and first called Akin, then Burtner, Melville, and finally Delta, the area owes such of its growth to several irrigation projects and a successful land development campaign. |
