Guy Bishop's History of Sevier County (1996), p. 235, the Baptists organized a congregation in 1957, and purchased a building in Richfield in 1959, presumably this one. Founded as First Baptist Church of Richfield, they changed the name to Sevier Valley Southern Baptist Church in 1973. |
