This parade float that was entered into the Utah Centennial parade represented the tragedy of Winter Quarters. It was entered in the event by the Third Ward. The businesses in the background are Westinghouse Appliances (Searle Electric Appliance Co.), Vernal City Office Free Museum, and Save-A-Nickel Market. Note the Utah Centennial flags hanging from the buildings and across the street.
