Description The Uintah High School prom was held at the Imperial Hall. From the yearbook the description is as follows: The guests at the Junior Prom, held n the Imperial, were ushered into a scene of barbaric splendor. They found themselves in a room where Pirates reigned with a high hand. An actual pirate's cave was constructed on the stage. Festoons of moss hung from the ceiling; cobwebs concealed eerie corners. Moss-covered rocks and casks were placed for seats. A rock arch spanned the entrance of the cave, where a painted figure of the King of Pirates himself surveyed the scene. Down in the ballroom, a ceing of flaming barbaric colors of reds, greens, purples, yellows and browns, carried out further the pirate theme. Brightly colored parrots hung on rings from the ceiling. Pictures of pirates, chests, skulls and crossbones, were placed in panels on the walls.
