Description A Merry-Go-Round powered by a threshing engine. According to Nellie Richens, George Slaugh owned the engine. The Merry-Go-Round was run on the 4th and 24th of July at "The Grove" on Hy Rasmussen's property (approximately 2500 East and 2500 South). The Merry-Go-Round had wooden slat benches. There was also an Old Dance Hall on the property that Rasmussen built. It had a rough wood floor and was used for weddings and parties. The hall had benches around the outside of the floor. After Nate Hunting purchased the ground, he continued to use "The Grove" for gatherings.
