Description Fulminant idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a rapid vision-degrading presentation of IIH that is poorly studied with only case studies and series reports available. To improve patient care, disease must be better characterized and treatment mechanisms studied. The purpose of this review compile all the available fulminant IIH papers and characterizing patient presentation, comorbidities, treatments, and visual outcomes for patients.
