Description Nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) is the most common acute optic neuropathy in those >50 years old, and about 20% patients develop second eye involvement. In this study, we ask whether plasma from NAION patients exhibit biological activity in vitro and in vivo.
