Description To study the clinical significance and appropriate imaging technique in isolated pupil sparing 3rd nerve palsy. A series of patients with isolated 3rd nerve palsies were studied by dynamic CT scanning and where appropriate conventional angiography. Pupil sparing cases were identified and the diagnosis determined.
