Description A previously healthy 24 year old woman developed acute nausea and emesis followed by headache, transient blurred vision, diplopia, and finally, disorientation over the ensuing 24 hours. The patient denied any toxin, tick or tuberculosis exposure, recent wight gain, menstrual changes, or oral contraceptive use. The initial neurologic exam revealed disorientation to time and place, right sixth cranial nerve palsy and papilledema OD.
