Stereotactic Radiosurgery for Trochlear Nerve Schwannoma

Nonvestibular intracranial schwannomas in the absence of neurofibromatosis occur rarely. Trochlear nerve schwannomas may present clinically by affecting neighboring structures or by dysfunction of the nerve itself. Management options of these benign tumors remain controversial including clinical and radiological observation, surgical intervention and radiation therapy.
