Description Peripapillary Hyperrreflective Ovoid Mass-Like Structures (PHOMS) are a recently characterized optic nerve head finding that has been identified in a range of processes from myopia and pseudopapilledema to papilledema. PHOMS are hypothesized represent axoplasmic stasis but the time course of formation and resolution of them has not been well defined. The purpose of this study was to characterize de novo development and resolution of PHOMS.
