| Description |
Diary kept by Earl Douglass during the year 1889. He attended spring term at the South Dakota Agricultural College in Brookings, began a herbarium at the college, and returned to teaching school. He began a class in shorthand, which he used for many entries from then until December. In the last entry of the year, he discusses his loss of religious faith. |
