Abstract |
This paper seeks to contribute to the sparse scholarship on Utah's folk music revival period by demonstrating, through oral interviews with local revivalists, that this era touched all corners of the country - even Utah, and that these local experiences illustrate similar experiences as are understood on the national level. Thus, Utah's folk music revival is understood to be a microcosm of the national scene with many of the same attributes and sentiments also visible here.(Quoted from Jennifer Bott) |
