Description Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is an increasingly prevalent disease bearing the risk of visual impairment due to axonal damage in presence of papilledema. Morphometric ophthalmic measurements using optical coherence tomography (OCT) and orbital ultrasonography can be valuable markers for diagnosis and disease monitoring, but their prognostic value is controversially discussed.
