Description Empty sella is often used to support a diagnosis of raised intracranial pressure (ICP) including idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), but can also be seen in normal individuals. The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of a partially empty/empty sella in neuro-ophthalmology patients undergoing MRI for reasons other than raised ICP.
