Description Lyme disease Is a spirochetal (Borrelia burgdorferi) illness transmitted through a tick vector (ixodes dammini) that causes constitutional symptoms, a characteristic rash (erythema chronlcum mlgrans), arthralglas, cardiac conduction defects, and a variety of central and peripheral neurological disorders. The following case illustrates a little known manifestation of Lyme disease, pseudotumor cerebri syndrome.
