Description |
FLAIR hyperintensity of the optic nerve/optic nerve head (ON/ONH) has been described as a sensitive imaging finding for the detection of papilledema in patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), but no imaging findings have been correlated with long-term visual outcomes.1,2,3 The purpose of this study is to confirm that ON/ONH FLAIR signal hyperintensity is associated with IIH as well as to evaluate the relationship between aberrant ON/ONH FLAIR signal and visual parameters. |
