Oral History Interview by Ken Verdoia with Robert Walker. A resident of the Delta, Utah area, Mr. Walker served as a naval aviator during World War II, seeing extensive combat action in the South Pacific. He was decorated for valor in his mission against the Japanese. Returning to Delta at the end of the war, he worked at the Topaz site and participated in the dismantling of the camp after relocation had ended. |
