Climate Hazards in Colorado |
Date |
2024 |
Description |
The Rocky Mountain Resilience Academy aimed to address the escalating climate-related challenges within the Rocky Mountain Region, including Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Montana. Its primary purpose was to create a climate hazard summary for each state that identified the most salient climate hazards and identified resources to better prepare and mitigate those. This project is crucial in the wake of increasing threats such as wildfires, droughts, floods, and severe weather conditions, significantly impacting local communities and their housing. |
