Topics include: Growing up in Hyrum and living near both sets of grandparents; Her mother running a daycare facility in their home; Enjoying dressing up in old dance and halloween costumes; Training to become a CNA and working in a dementia and rehabilitation units; A degree in social work from USU and work at a group home for young women; Enjoying working with teenagers; Children and working from home in Reiki therapy to assist in the release of trauma, pain, and sorrow through meditation and visualization; Enjoying spending time outdoors, gardening, reading, and blogging; Other holistic forms of healing such as massage therapy, foot zoning, and craniosacral therapy; Daily scheduling of sessions and teaching in-person and online Reiki classes. |

Abstract |
Ms. Talesha Carter was born and raised in Hyrum, Utah, and now lives in Logan, Utah. She worked as a CNA for several years, before returning to school to earn her degree in social work. She worked as a social worker in a teen therapy residential school for a couple years before quitting to raise her kids. She now runs a business from home doing energy work, as a Reiki master, as well as teaching classes (Reiki and others). She speaks about her own healing journey. |
