PATIENT PROFILE: A former patient in University Hospital's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit, who many thought would be in a motorized wheelchair for the rest of his life after he injured his spinal cord in a trampoline accident nearly 3 years ago, will carry the Olympic torch on foot and xinaided Friday afternoon. Dr. Dale Hull, a local obstetrician-gynecologist, will carry the torch Fri., Feb. 8 at 3:15 p.m. on 700 East, starting at 8000 South and proceeding north to 7800 South. Some of you did stories about Dr. Hull at the time he was injured; others have interviewed him more recently. He's a remarkable man with an inspiring story and he's willing to share it with media. |
