Description |
Bud Hacking purchased the Brown Derby in 1953 from Alonzo McCarrel. The business was located at 65 South Vernal avenue. By 1956 a name change was in order and it became Bud's Spostsman's Lounge. By 1961 he applied to the city council for permission to built a steakhouse and dance floor onto the south of the existing location. It went through another remodel in 1966. He had knocked down one of the oldest buildings in Vernal in this remodel, Kempton's Pool Hall. |
