Union Pacific Challenger type locomotive 3985 being serviced at Evanston, Wyoming, May 18, 1991. Water was needed after the heavy pull up Echo Canyon to Evanston. (Note: the hose over the track). Rods and pistons, etc. were also lubricated. This locomotive was built by the American Locomotive Co. late in World War II. Donor & Photog.: Mike B. Davis. |
