Description |
The Salt Lake City Depot of the Union Pacific is almost deserted on a summer's day in July, 1989. The structure had been used by regular Union Pacific trains since May, 1970 and was phased out by Amtrak in 1987. It was used for a time by special Union Pacific passenger trains, but is no longer in use, having been incorporated into a Salt Lake City shopping center development. Donor and photographer: Mike B.
