Sheriff Arden Stewart

Arden Stewart served as Uintah County Sheriff for four terms. During his time a lot of improvement were made to the department including a new jail. Arden was born on May 10, 1925 to John Henry and Elsie Wardle Stewart. He married Donna Rae Chivers. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was involved in Boys Scouts and in the American Legion. He was a cowboy poet and published a book of his poems. He died May 12, 2015.
