Cotton Belt GP-60 locomotives in the Rio Grande Roper Yard in South Salt Lake. Since the buyout of the Southern Pacific and its subsidiary, the St. Louis & Southwestern, known as the Cotton Belt, by Rio Grande Industries (parent of the D&RGW) the locomotives of these railroads are increasingly seen on the Rio Grande lines. |
