Guide to the Westminster College manuals and handbooks

This collection consists of various manuals and handbooks, published between 1975-1995, designed for the use of faculty, staff, administrators, and/or students of Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah. Each publication generally include a title, table of contents, introduction or statement of purpose, calendar, policies, and procedures. Most of the publications are 3-hole punched to be inserted in a ring-binder.

The Affirmative Action program, 1975 is addressed to administrators, staff, faculty, and students from President Manford A. Shaw. The Affirmative Action program of 1977 is distributed from the Personnel Office.

The College manual dated February 1978 has a preface from President Helmut Hofmann and the College manual dated ca. 1984 is addressed to students from President J.E. Petersen.

The College students with disabilities, 1995 document is addressed to faculty, staff, and administation in a cover letter from President Peggy A. Stock.

The Employee handbooks are dated 1980, 1982, and 1995.

The Staff handbook, July 1977, has a welcome from President Helmut Hofmann.

Gaps in the collection: There are no publications dated 1976, 1979, 1981, 1985-1986, and 1989-1994.

Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.

Twenty-four hours advance notice is encouraged.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances.

Permission to publish material must be obtained from the director of the Giovale Library.
