Additional Information A coal-fired power plant built in 1971 near Huntington, Emery County, Utah. Built by Utah Power & Light (now Rocky Mountain Power). Its two units came on line in 1974 and 1977, and produce 895 megawatts of electricity. The burning of 3 million tons of coal each year produces the steam that generates electricity
