A run-down airstrip was in much need of repair. The Vernal Airport closed for commercial service for improvements to be made to the runway. The improvements will mean a better, smoother and safer runway. Buckling of the runway during spring thaws will be eliminated. A new drainage system will prevent water standing on the runway. |
