Description |
<Temperature Controlled Environment Enclosure (TCEE)> The TCEE is used to protect the vehicle from the elements, such as wind, rain, heat and dust; however, the main constraint is that it provides temperature control. The vehicle's motors are sensitive to temperature change and for that reason a constant temperature must be kept. The enclosure contains heating units and air conditioning with thermostatic control. These are mounted to the enclosure. The enclosure is motorized and automatically controlled from the blockhouse. The pad is cleared of all personnel by T-55 and the TCEE is removed starting at T-45. minutes. Official U.S. Air Force Photo. DET. 2-1352 PGP-APCS (MatS) June, 1964. #507 |
