Collection Overview +/-
Collection Inventory +/-Biographical Note/Historical Note +/-The Mothers' Club of Westminster College was organized in October 1950 at the request of mothers who wanted to be more closely attached to the college and their children's activities. Its purpose was to "become better acquainted with the College program, the activities, and to be of service to the College, as interpreted by a 'Mother's interest in the College'." Records and scrapbooks of the club scan the years 1951-1974. The college yearbook, The Etosian, has been indexed from 1918-1987 and contains references to the club only for the years 1951, 1952, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972. Thus, the club seems to have disbanded after 1974. Currently, parents of Westminster College students are served by the Office of Parent Relations . Content Description +/-This collection consists of 5 binders and a plaque of the Mothers' Club of Westminster College. The binders include brochures, bylaws, directories, flyers, letters, lists of members and officers, newspaper clippings, photographs, and programs.
