| Description |
n November 1959 a cofferdam was completed on each side of the Flaming Gorge Dam site. The cofferdams held back the Green River during construction. Each dam was approximately 260 feet long, 80 feet through the base and 23 feet high above the water level. Vehicles and equipment can be seen where the dam will be located. |
