| Description |
The refinery in Fruita, Colorado, is where coke and gasoline are made from Gilsonite. After the Gilsonite is washed, it is pumped into the pipeline and carried to the refinery some 72 miles to the refinery. It is near the Colorado River and on the railway tracks. |
