Description |
Mel "Fat" Davis, Dave Tanner, Glen Jenkins, Don Liddell enjoy a game of cards at the Saloon. Genltlemen get together for a drink and a visit at the Blue Moon. The Blue Moon Salon was located in a building which was originally built in 1910 by Hayden Calvert for Calvert Mercantile. In the late 1940's Dave Tanner purchased the building to be used as a commercial club (card room and beer hall) and was later joined in business by Mel "Fat" Davis. Tanner sold his interest to Davis, who continued to run the beer hall as the Blue Moon Saloon. In 1969 the business was purchased by Lou Arnold. |
