NORTHERN UTAH SOIL CONSERVATION DISTRICT, Tremonton, Utah. June 13, 1952. Raymond Holdaway farm, Tremonton, Utah. This Jeoffery plow with 12" sweeps is being used as an initial summer fallow tillage implement. This field was chiseled in the fall of 1951 to a depth of about 8" using this implement equipped with chisel points. This fall chiseling was effective in preventing the absorption of the winter snow-melt. This field will now be rod-weeded as soon as moisture conditions permit to set a moisture line. |
