Description |
Two unidentified men work on airplane propeller. In December of 1958 a U.S. Air Force crew completed work on replacing a disabled motor on a flyng boxcar that had to make an emergency landing at the Vernal Airport. The two-engined C119 developed engine trouble over Roosevelt and pilots were required to "feather" one of the propellers. The plane landed on one engine at the Vernal Airport. Another C119 landed to take off the supplies on the plane. Another C119 brought a new motor and it was placed in the down C119. Then it returned to Hill Airforce Base. |
